Tom is a co-portfolio manager of the Sands Capital Select Growth strategy and a research analyst. He joined Sands Capital in 2005 as a research associate covering technology and was promoted to research analyst in 2008. In 2012, Tom was named co-portfolio manager of the Technology Innovators strategy.

He was promoted to senior research analyst in 2016 and, in 2017, was named co-portfolio manager of the Select Growth strategy. Tom was promoted to senior portfolio manager in 2021.

Tom received a BA in chemistry and a BS in physics and engineering from Washington and Lee University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
