Teeja is a co-portfolio manager of the Sands Capital Emerging Markets Growth and Emerging Markets Discovery strategies and a senior research analyst.

Teeja joined Sands Capital in 2014 as a research consultant in the financial services sector, mainly covering emerging market banks, insurers, and digital financial services providers. He was subsequently promoted to research analyst in 2014 and senior research analyst in 2018. In 2021, Teeja helped create and launch the Emerging Markets Discovery strategy, for which he serves as a co-portfolio manager. He joined the Emerging Markets Growth portfolio management team in 2022.

Before joining Sands Capital, Teeja worked in London as an investment analyst at Insparo Asset Management and as an associate analyst at UBS.

Teeja received a BSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MBA from the UVA Darden School of Business. He is a CFA® charterholder.
