Frank joined Sands Capital at its founding in 1992, serving as an assistant to the President, Frank Sands, Sr., CFA. Frank re-joined the firm in 2000 as Director of Research and Sr. Co-Portfolio Manager of the Select Growth strategy. In 2008, Frank became Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Prior to re-joining Sands Capital, Frank spent six years as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Fayez Sarofim & Co., an institutional investment management firm based in Houston. Frank earned a BA from Washington & Lee University (1989), an MS from Johns Hopkins University (1993) and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia (1994).
