Barron is a managing partner on the Global Innovation strategy and a senior research analyst. Together with Michael Clarke, he serves as an investment decision-maker for the strategy. Barron joined Sands Capital in 2008. He has significant experience analyzing and investing in technology and technology-enabled businesses globally. Barron has deep knowledge of global internet services and has led or co-led investments in private and public holdings at Sands Capital. He currently serves on the board of two leading India-based private internet service businesses. Barron received a BS in business administration and a BA in geology from Washington and Lee University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
